Bart Roman, PT, DPT

Owner/CEO at PTPC Physical Therapy & Performance Center

Bart Roman is specializing in neurological and orthopedic physical therapy completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy program from Utica College, NY and Masters in Physical Therapy from Medical University of Bialystok/Poland. Bart has over 2 decades of experience working in outpatient setting implementing physical therapy techniques and managing staff as a supervisor and lead physical therapist. Bart has immerse experience working with patients with neurological and orthopedic disorders and serves as clinical instructor for graduate students from Dominican University.

Bart underwent intensive training in the field of Vestibular therapy and did his research paper on the same for his doctoral thesis. He also did numerous orthopedic courses in and outside United States including Maitland, Mckenzie and Kineso-taping. Bart has experience working with orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, pediatric and sports medicine patients. Bart is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy and a member of Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA).

Bart enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, singing, running and weightlifting. At his free time, he enjoys traveling and entertain guests at his house.

Maria Moldovan, PT

Maria is a graduate of University Oradea, Romania in 1999, with 20 years experience in outpatient facilities in the state of New York. Maria is Certified in Strain Counter Strain (SCS) technique, trained in orthopedic rehabilitation, post surgeries, chronic back pain, spinal mobilization.

My slogan is : “Fight the fight together for good quality of your life”
Maria is passionate for yoga, movement in nature, music ,interrelationships.

Eloisa Lara, PT

Eloisa Lara graduated from the Philippines in 1999 with Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Previously, Eloisa worked in various Acute and Sub acute Rehabilitation Facilities in Rockland and Westchester Counties. Eloisa specializes in treating diverse diagnosis and orthopedic in Geriatric population. Eloisa  is currently working at Helen Hayes Hospital apart from PTPC Physical Therapy. She also underwent courses based on Geriatric Populations, Kinesiotaping, Eloisa completed Post graduate Program in Lumbar Spine Mc Kenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

Paula Boc, PT

Paula graduated from Hunter college physical therapy program in 1998 and have treated in a variety of PT settings but primarily in orthopedics. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, gardening and spending time with my family and pets.  Her favorite professional sports teams are the NY Rangers and England’s Liverpool soccer club.

Allison Jarnich PT, MS, OCS, Cert. MDT

Allison is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with over 20 years experience in the outpatient setting. Allison moved from New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center where she was a senior physical therapist in the outpatient spine and orthopedic clinic to PTPC in January of 2016. She graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts in 1999.

Allison specializes in spine and orthopedic conditions, received her Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute of USA in 2005. She has experience working with patients with diverse diagnoses including pediatric and adult burn survivors and adults post mastectomy. She has completed numerous manual courses in Maitland and Mulligan Technique and neuro-reeducation courses. PTPC is proud to have Allison in the team as she can utilize her immense experience treating most complex conditions to provide only the highest quality care for our patients.

Izabela Roman, PT, MS

Izabela Roman, PT graduated Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Medical University of Bialystok, Poland in 2005. She is certified in Strain- Counter- Strain  method. She is also trained in Mckenzie Method. Izabela has vast experience in treatment of patients with orthopedic disorders, post surgical and chronic joint pain treatment. She also works with pediatric population suffering from neurological and orthopedic disorders. 
 
In her free time, Izabela enjoys meditations, workouts and travel with her family. 

Purviben Patel, PT

As a Physical Therapist, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals  and improve their quality of life through personalized, evidence – based treatment. I have expertise in a wide range of conditions and injuries, including musculoskeletal, neurological and post – surgical rehabilitation. My approach to care is holistic and patient – centered and I strive to empower my patients to take an active role in their recovery and overall well – being. In addition to traditional Physical therapy techniques, I am also trained in manual therapy and functional movement analysis. 

Outside of the clinic, I am avid runner and enjoy staying active and healthy through a variety of sports and activities.
