Hip Joint

Inflammation of tissues like muscles, tendons, bone and ligaments are causes of pain, along with pain from wear and tear at cartilage and bone. Hip joint being one of the largest joints in the body is often times exposed to wear and tear because of its weight bearing function. Though wear and tear is a normal process, its accelerated rate is a pathology. Hip joint, along with other joints, harmoniously work to accomplish high functional activities like walking and running thus forming a kinetic chain of action. Hip and groin pain are one of the common conditions which hinder the performance of athletes. At PTPC, our physical therapists are specialized in assessing and identifying the underlying root cause than only treating the symptoms.
